Med-Eq (Formerly AIRE-mail)
Med-Eq is a medical equipment donation and notification program developed by REMEDY in cooperation with the Office of International Health of Yale University. Available donations of medical supplies and durable equipment are posted to this Website where members can view and request items, as well as donate medical equpiment and supplies. Email notification are sent to recipients, so you can be sure not to miss your chance to request a posted item.
Med-Eq has 3 types of membership: Donors, recipients and super-recipients. Super-recipients* pay a very modest yearly fee (based on annual their not-for-profit budget), and have priority when requesting items. All three types of member may donate at any time. In the near future, recipients (Super or not) will also be able to earn priority by posting donations.
Special note to donors: If you have a multi-item donation, it is acceptable to combine everything into one listing. This will save you a lot of work - for example, if you have 6 items to donate, we will find one recipient, rather than having multiple organizations calling to arrange shipment or pickup logistics.
*we are not accepting applications for recipients or super-recipients at this time. Check back in a month or so.
To be become a member, post donations, or become eligible to request and receive donations, organizations must register with Med-Eq.
